Week 12 - A Short Week Focused on PC Inventory

12th On-The-Job Training week April 21, 2025

This week was cut short as I fell ill and wasn't able to report to the office after the first day. Despite that, I made the most of the time I had by continuing our ongoing inventory task.

Day 1: PC Identification in Computer Laboratory 2201

On my only working day this week, I focused on performing PC identification of the computer units in Computer Laboratory 2201. This involved carefully opening each unit, taking note of hardware specifications such as the processor type, RAM, storage devices, motherboard, and power supply, along with each unit’s brand, model, and serial numbers. The documentation gathered contributes to a centralized PC inventory and maintenance log, which is essential for tracking repairs, upgrades, and replacements in the lab.

Although I was only able to report for one day, I’m glad I contributed to an important task that ensures smooth operations in the lab. I’m currently recovering and eager to get back to my regular pace next week.
